If you want to work from home, are good with computers and like to welcome new members to the League via telephone and emails, this Division is for you!!!

  • Database Chairman updates the data from the membership forms on the existing Excel spreadsheet and adds the data for the new members.
  • Directory Chairman is responsible for the design, layout, editing and updating of the annual directory in coordination with the VP Membership, the SASL President and the Database Manager.
  • Recruitment Chairman assembles and sends out welcome packages to new members and organizes the New Members Orientation and any other recruitment events together with the VP Membership.
  • The Retention Chairman schedules and manages the annual League Appreciation Nights at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts together with the VP Membership. These events take place in the Fall during select concerts when the League is recognized for its sustaining financial support and service to the Symphony.

The Recruitment and Retention Committee work together to ensure new members’ areas of volunteer interest are captured and subsequently coordinate with the applicable League committee chairmen to ensure appropriate placement. Additionally, they work in developing areas for membership management together with the VP Membership and other volunteers.
