The San Antonio Symphony League exists to provide volunteer service and financial support for the San Antonio Symphony and its musicians. Ranging from educational programs that allow for children and the community to better develop its appreciation of music and live classical performance, to lunches for the orchestra at practice, the League offers great opportunities for anyone wanting to become more involved with the Symphony and the community.
The League’s signature event each year is the Symphony Ball, which presents a group of Belles in their senior year of high school to the community as the culmination of their participation in a four-year development program. The Symphony Ball continues to be a highly anticipated community event each year and has raised over two million dollars on behalf of the Symphony.
The Symphony League supports the San Antonio Symphony through financial assistance, service and education efforts. In doing so, the League will preserve and promote the live performance of symphonic music for the San Antonio area.
League volunteers are a group of hard-working and fun-loving men and women who want to make a difference. As a group, we enjoy ongoing social activities while making a solid contribution to the promotion of exceptional symphonic music in our city.
